Maskr detects faces on-device. Select the people you want to mask, or add and remove face areas manually.
Apply blur or pixelation and adjust the effect until the result looks right.
Export the edited photo to Photos. Your original import remains untouched and the editable Maskr project stays in your Library.
Open the Settings app, find Maskr, and confirm that Photos access is allowed. Also check that the item is a supported still-image format.
Confirm Maskr can add photos to your library and that your device has available storage. Maskr saves an edited copy; it does not replace the original.

In Photos, open an image, choose Edit, then open Extensions and select Maskr. Availability can vary by device and operating system.
Maskr exposes a curated set of actions through Apple’s Shortcuts and system control surfaces. Open the relevant system gallery to add them.
